Radicals tests the Indonesia tolerance...

Indonesia is home to more Muslims than any other country, largely enjoying a reputation for tolerance and moderation.

But outbursts of violence from small but vocal minorities are challenging that perception.

In recent years radical groups have attacked bars, brothels and Christian churches. And that is causing concern for Indonesia's government.

The Islamic Defenders' Front (IDF) is one such group. Its members can be seen training in poor districts of the Indonesian capital, Jakarta.

Law unto themselves

IDF members say they do not go looking for trouble, but they are happy to take the law into their hands, closing and smashing up bars, brothels and gambling dens.

"If they are open, we initially give them written warnings and so on," Abu Shorfayail, an IDF activist, says. "And if they still don't close down, then we will have to go down there and forcibly close them."

The IDF is perhaps best known for its attack on the offices of Indonesian version of Playboy magazine.

That gained it international attention, and raised the IDF's profile in Indonesia as well.

More than 80 per cent of Indonesia's 220 million people are Muslim.

Cause for concern

The government says the vast majority of Indonesians are opposed to less tolerant forms of Islam, yet the vocal minority still causes concern.

Atho Mudzhar, from the department of religious affairs, told Al Jazeera: "The radical groups are very small in number but are very noisy too.

The actions of a small vocal minority of Muslims
is shaping perception and creating fears

"We saw some instances like the Bali bombing was the result of some radical ideas, so we have to be worried all the time about this."

The activities of radical groups are hard to miss. In a west Java neighbourhood, a Christian church bears the handiwork of the Anti Apostacy Alliance (AAA).

The church has suffered multiple attacks over a period of years.

The graffiti on the walls threatens to tear down the entire building.

The AAA is troubled by what it sees as an increase in conversions to Christianty.

"Conversions to Christianity in Indonesia, especially in Bandung and Jawa Barat, have become increasingly serious," Muhammad Mukmin, from the Anti Apostasy Alliance, says.

"In my judgement I think it is a bigger evil than terrorism."

Rural tolerance

The moderate and more traditional practice of Islam in Indonesia is reflected in less dramatic scenes than those likely to involve groups such as the AAA and IDF.

In a typical village in south central Java, rice farmers see no conflict between their Islamic faith and offerings made to spirits of the field.

Wardoyo, a farmer, said: "I consider myself a good Muslim because all these rituals are just another way of worshipping. The rice goddess is called Devi Sri. This rice sheaf you can take home with you and your blessings will multiply."

Such ordinary daily activities don't grab headlines, and neither do the millions of faithful who fill Indonesia's mosques.

But the actions of a small minority willing to use violence do far more to shape opinion and create fear.

Why are people on earth still fighting and killing each other?

MY DREAM IS TO SEE THE PEACEFUL SOCIETY JUSTICE FO R ALL,NONE DISCRIMINATION,AND PROSPERITY.

Oleh latifabdul.
Bismilahirrahmanirrahiim
ALLAH said in Al Quran as belows:
1. And the Jinn, We created aforetime from the smokeless flame of fire (QS.15:27)

2. He said: "Seest Thou? This is the one whom Thou hast honoured above me! If Thou wilt but respite me to the Day of Judgment, I will surely bring his descendants under my sway, all but a few!" (Allah) said: "Go thy way; if any of them follow thee, verily Hell will be the recompense of you (all) - an ample recompense. "Lead to destruction those whom thou canst among them, with thy (seductive) voice, make assaults on them with thy cavalry and thy infantry; mutually share with them wealth and children; and make promises to them. "But Satan promises them nothing but deceit(QS.17:62-64) QS.7:11-20.

3. Likewise did We make for every Messenger an enemy, evil ones among men and Jinns, inspiring each other with flowery discourses by way of deception if thy Lord had so planned, they would not have done it: so leave them and their inventions alone.QS.6:112

4. Surely.for Satan doth sow dissensions among them: for Satan is to man an avowed enemy. (QS.17:53) (QS.7:22.)

5. ."O ye assembly of Jinns! Much (toll) did ye take of men." Their friends amongst men will say: "Our Lord! we made profit from each other: but (alas!) we reached our term, which Thou didst appoint for us." He will say: "The Fire be your dwelling place: you will dwell therein forever, except as Allah willeth." For thy Lord is full of wisdom and knowledge.QS 6:128.

It is really clear that ALLAH has permited Satan to mislead people from ALLAH's way. Satan will deceit people and will go togather to Hell. So if peopel will remember ALLAH always and fear ALLAH, ALLAH will give a good protection from Satan.

But if peopel will not ask ALLAH's protection ALLAH will let people go togather with Satan. ALLAH will not lost anything, only people will lost the Heaven. May ALLAH will bless andprotect us from Satan.
Sincerely yours

Wassalamu'alaikumwrwb

Why God created 3 the holy books for people in the world?

MY DREAM IS TO SEE THE PEACEFUL SOCIETY,JUSTICE FOR ALL, NONE DISCRIMINATION AND PROPSERITY

Author: Latifabdul

According to Old Testament and Al Quran; because people turned away from God’s laws, God saw how wicked everyone on the earth was, and how evil their thought were all the time, violence had spread on the earth.

God love people very much, God creates people with love, but people neglected God’s laws.
That is why God sent a prophet to the earth with laws after hundreds years the prophet died.

After hundreds years Moses died, then God sent Jesus to the earth with additional laws, named the New Testament. Then after Jesus died 600 years later, people again neglected the God laws, The violence had spread over the world. God sent Muhammad be peace upon him, with additional laws, more complete than before, named al Quran.

In order people can live peaceful again and obey God’s laws in daily live.
God want people live happily, peacefully, and harmonically.

Therefore God sent the Messengers and laws to the earth.
1. "Surely, those who believe, those who are Jewish, the Christians the converts; anyone who (1) believes in God and
(2) believes in the Hereafter, and prayer.
(3) leads a righteous life, will receive their recompense from their Lord; they have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve." (QS. 5:69, 2:62)

2. God said, “And God have sent you Oh Muhammad not but as mercy for the mankind and all that exist.” Say: "What has come to me by inspiration is that your God is One God: will ye therefore bow to His Will (in Islam)?" (QS.21:107).

3...To every People have We appointed rites and ceremonies which they must follow, let them not then dispute with thee on the matter, but do thou invite (them) to thy Lord: for thou art assuredly on the Right WayQS.22:67.

4. It is He Who sent down to thee (step by step), in truth, the Book, confirming what went before it; and He sent down the Law (of Musa) and the Gospel (of 'Isa). QS.3:3

5.This Day, I have perfected your religion for you, completed My Favor upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion.(QS.5:3).

May ALLAH will blesses you all after reading ALLAH's verses above.

What is the view of the relationship between religion and science?

by John Kaltner

The Qur’an and the sayings of the Prophet Muhammad tell Muslims to study and learn from the world around them. They are urged to examine their environment so that they can develop an understanding of the created order and their place within it. At the same time, they will come to a deeper appreciation of the power and majesty of the God who brought everything into existence. Muslims understand this to be an invitation to engage in scientific inquiry, experimentation, and analysis.( QS.11:61, QS.57:25, QS. 58:11.)

During the medieval period that eventually gave rise to the Scientific Revolution, Islam exerted a tremendous amount of influence on the intellectual heritage of the non-Muslim world. Were it not for the Islamic community it is probable that some of the most prominent figures of antiquity would have disappeared from the pages of history, silently buried in oblivion.
The foremost examples of this are the classical Greek philosophers like Plato and Socrates. At an early stage in Islamic history, their writings were translated into Arabic by Muslims, who preserved them for centuries as the only extant copies of the works. Later, when Muslims had the opportunity to interact and live with Christians and Jews, they reintroduced into Europe the works of these important thinkers. Muslim contributions in this area went well beyond preservation, because they also offered interpretations of the writings of the Greek philosophers that had an impact on how the non-Muslim world came to understand these works.
Muslims were not only engaged in the preservation and interpretation of literary texts, but were also responsible for some of the most significant inventions and discoveries in science and related fields. It has already been noted how important Muslim advances in medicine were for European physicians and surgeons, as seen in the fact that Ibn Sina’s (Avicenna) textbook was their standard reference work for centuries.
Mathematics is another field that was heavily influenced by Muslim scholars. Algebra, coming from the Arabic word al-jabr, was invented by Muslim mathematicians. Algorithms take their name from Al-Khawarizmi (d.840), who was one of the most brilliant mathematicians the Islamic world produced. Muslims invented the concept of zero, which is a foundation for the numbering system used throughout the world. Euclid’s writings on geometry are known to us today only because they were translated into Arabic and preserved by Muslims.
The Islamic world also made important contributions to many other areas of science, including chemistry, botany, pharmacology, and zoology. One field that deserves special mention is astronomy, which Muslims took keen interest in from the earliest days of Islam. Many new stars were discovered by Muslims, who composed numerous astronomical tables as a result of their observations that influenced the development of European astronomy.
The world’s first truly scientific observatory, at Maraghah in Persia, was built in the heart of the Muslim world. Among the many astronomical tools and instruments invented by Muslims, the most well-known is the astrolabe, which allows one to fix the position of the sun and stars in the sky, and assists in determining the precise time of day. Muslim interest in astronomy was often directly related to the practice of their faith since knowledge of the sun’s location in the sky and the direction of Mecca would determine when and how they prayed.
Some of the most significant works of translation and discovery took place in Spain, during a period known in Spanish as Convivencia, when Muslims, Jews, and Christians lived together and learned from each other. Between the eighth and fifteenth centuries, members of the three faiths coexisted in an environment of tolerance and respect that benefited all. During this time, remarkable achievements were made in science, art, literature, and architecture, and the era still stands as a shining example of what is possible when people of different faiths come together in a spirit of trust and cooperation.
The West profited from Muslim advances in science and eventually developed a strong scientific tradition of its own. In recent times, the non-Muslim world has generally surpassed the Muslim world in the areas of science and technology, and this situation has been addressed by Muslims in various ways. At one extreme are those who see this as evidence that the people of the West have become too secular, and therefore conclude that Muslims should have nothing to do with them. At the other end are those who maintain that the Muslim world needs to become more like the West and recover its commitment to scientific inquiry.
Despite these differences and debates, Muslims now face a challenge similar to the one confronting Jews and Christians as science continues to expand human knowledge and understanding. Concepts like evolution and advancements like cloning sometimes challenge the assumptions of their sacred texts and the teachings of their communities, and this raises profound questions about the nature of faith and its role in the world.

EVERY MOSLEM SHOULD HAVE A DREAM

The way of Moslem’s life.

Oleh Latifabdul

I seek the refuge in God, from satan the rejected.
In the name of God, Most gracious and Most Merciful.

Islam is both a faith and a law (Shariah). It provides a comprehensive framework for man’s life on earth, establishing justice, protecting the dignity of man and assuring his peaceful co-existence with other.

Islam’s teaching is a way of life on earth. Islam is a mercy for the mankind. And We have sent you O Muhammad not but as mercy for the Alamin (mankind and all that exist) (V.21:107)

Allah swt is Great Creator, Compassionate, Sustainer, the Merciful, whose mercy enshrines all beings.* Allah has created the universe with content all kinds for human being’s needs. Allah sends men to the earth as Allah’s slaves or workers.

Mankind will work for sake of Allah. Allah also sent down a guide book.a manual book or a Traveler’s-Map. Allah orders mankind to work for Him as well as possible and obey His rules according to a guide book(Al Quran), and follow the Prophet’s Muhammad saw.

So travelers can enjoy living in the world and preventing from doing bad deeds and sins. Allah warned that men will life on earth for a while only. You have a lot of work to do for Me. You will die any time I wish, but I do not tell you when and where. Do not forget! Your life’s time will be decreased every second.

Allah said that if you are a good worker, and work according to My commandments and holy Prophets, I will give you the best place in this world and the Hereafter “Paradise”.

Allah admonished: “To enter the Paradise you should believe Allah and do righteous good deeds, abstain all kind of evil and bed deeds, as Allah has ordained, and not do Shirk”

Allah said that at Hereafter, every one will be questioned; how did you use your time in the world? Did you obey Allah’s commandments and follow the Holy Prophet? Allah will open your records, Allah will balance your good deeds and evil deeds. Allah said that if you have good deeds more than evil deeds, you can enter my Paradise. But if not, Allah will put you in Hellfire forever.

Nabi Muhammad saw is an honored man, a successful trader, a wise man, and a model of love, sincerity, kindness, generosity, tolerance, fairness, patience, forgiveness ect. People should follow his behavior as above. Holy Prophet (peace be upon Him) said that in order mankind can receive Allah’s reward (Paradise) as much as possible you should do as follow:

1. Believe and do righteous good deeds as much as possible, and abstain all kind of evil deed as Allah has ordained. Do not be a shirk.

2. In order to get the good deeds as much possible, you have to work hard, be kind, be sincere, be loving, justice, generous act.

3. You have to leave many good inheritance;

Holy Prophet (peace be upon Him)said that only 3 cases you could receive rewards from Allah after you death;

a) Leave good children who can pray and beg pardon from Allah for their parents’ sins. As long as they ask pardon from Allah, Allah’s reward will flow to your parents’ account.

b). Leave good know ledges and books. As long as people use it for their benefit, Allah’s reward will flow to your parents’ account.

c). Leave good inheritance such as ;the mosques, schools, hospitals, and fabrics where men and women can work to make things. Allah’s reward will flow to your parents ’account as long as it is benefit for people.

Therefore, Muslim should be encouraged and strive hard to accomplish their goal and dream in this world.

Rasulullah saw said that; ”The best of human beings with in Allah’s sight is those who are useful to others.” HR.Moelim and Bukhari.

It means that his time, life knowledge, energy, and his inheritances are useful for the mankind and the Allah’s creatures at present or after his death.*

Our duties in this world is just like a King or President or boss of a Company send us to other country to carry out a specified task for certain years.

Our duties in this world is to prosperous family and society QS.11:61 and to develope ekonomy, technology and science as ALLAH order us as follow ,QS.57:25.

We sent aforetime Our Messengers with Clear Signs and sent down with them the Book and the Balance (of Right and Wrong), that men may stand forth in justice; and We sent down Iron, in which is (material for) mighty war, as well as many benefits for mankind, that Allah may test who it is that will help, unseen, Him and His Messengers: for Allah is Full of Strength, Exalted in Might (and able to enforce His Will).

So we go there and perform our a hundred other tasks. But if we did work according to manual, it will be fine. Most people did not do their work according to the manual, so when they come back, they have to give their report to their King, or President, or their Boss. They would get a lot of problem. They will get a fire.

Verily, to be a good worker of Allah swt, a King of Kings in the heaven and on earth, we should work according to Allah’s rules and the Holy Prophet. ALLAH said; And for those who fear Allah, He (ever) prepares a way out, And He provides for him from (sources) he never could imagine QS.65:2-3 and

"Verily the most honoured of you in the sight of Allah is (he who is) the most righteous of you. And Allah has full Knowledge and is well-acquainted (with all things). "QS.49:13

Life is a Journey on earth for e few years from the birthday to the day of death. Then our soul will return to Allah, and our body will return to earth. That is life work. Whatever travel or journey without a guide, It will take a long time and a big problem or mistake. Also it will cause us lost a lot money and stress. Do not we?

But it will be an easy travel or journey on the earth by using a guide book from Allah, it will ever no a mistake. Surely, we can arrive at Paradise happily and safely. Think about that! Here below, you will find the compiled Allah’s verses to help and ease you in learning Islam’s teaching;

How to get to the Paradise?, who you are?, why you be created?, what are your duties?, and how do you do your duties? What kind of life after death? and how to life happily in this world according to Allah’s rules?*

In order to get the true answers of above questions, you should read the Allah’s verses one by one and carefully. Do not read at once at one time. Do not learn Islamic teaching from only an Islamic scholars. Learn from different Islamic scholars, so you will be able to compare their Islamic teaching from one to another, you will have a wide knowledge. Islamic Scholar (He or she)himself can make some mistakes.

You know what, Allah said that; [ 53:39] "Every human being is responsible for his own works". So each of us has to learn Al Quran well. Our teachers, parents, ulama2, or Islamic scholars, their duty is to open the door for us to learn Islamic teachings, that is it. They are not responsible for our faults, bad deeds, or sins. Do not depand 100% to them, or do no be a taqliq .

Insya Allah, if you read repeat, consistently, slowly, frequently and prayerfully, these verses, Allah swt will give you guidance and blessings and Allah will open your heart. Your heart finds rest. If you read Allah’s verses, it mean you love Allah, Allah will love you more. If you walk toward Him, Allah comes to you running.

* Allah is the Most Merciful.* Allah is able to all things, it is He Who gives life to the dead, and Allah will resurrect those who are in the graves.

O mankind! If you are in doubt about the Resurrection, then verily We have created you (e.e Adam) from dust, then from mixed drop of male and female sexual discharge, then from a clot (a piece of thick coagulated blood) then from a little lump of flesh—some formed sand some unformed (as in the case of miscarriage)—that We may make it clear to you (i.e. to show you Our Power and ability to do what We will). And We cause whom We will to remain in the wombs for an appointed term, then We bring you out as infants, then (give you growth) that you may reach your age of full strength. And among you there is brought back to the miserable old age, so that he knows nothing after having known. And you see the earth barren, but when We send them down water (rain) on it, it is stirred to life, and it swells and puts forth every lovely kind of growth. That because Allah: He is the Truth and it is He Who give life to the dead, and it is He who is able to do all things. And surely, the Hour is coming, there is no doubt it; and certainly, Allah will resurrect those who are in the graves.(V.22:5-7)

When you die, there is someone asks; ”who will come with him(her) into the grave to support him(her) at his(her) last judgment? Those who attended the funeral started, “No I”, said his friends, fans “No I”, said his children “No I”, said his wife “No I”, said his scholar (Islam’s teacher) “No I”, said his Boss. “No I”, said his parents. Suddenly, there was a voice; “I will stay with you” said his Actions (the good deeds), “and they leapt into the grave to be by his side. Arm and arm, they knocked at the door of death—together.

Where do the good deeds came from?
They come from two resources;

A. While you life, you do righteous good deeds . you have to become a richman, so that youwill be able to pay ZAKAT as much as possible to the needs.

B. After you die, Holy Prophet ( peace be upon him) said; You still will receive 3 kind of rewards resource from Allah, as long as they give the benefits to people; These Allah’s reward will flow continuously to his account as his Bonus;as I mentioned above;

That is it, may Allah bless you more after your read this book. I hope this article will be useful, if you find the truth it belongs to Allah, but if you find some wrong, it came from me, forgive me and please correct it. Wassalamu’alaikum wr wb. Keep your hands busy with works; keep your mouth busy with remembrance of Allah, and leave inheritance as much as possible.

Please send this article to your love one.! Thank you.

THE RELIGIOUS AND FAITHFREEDOM

YOU WERE BORN WITH FREEDOM OF CHOICE FROM ALLAH SWT.

DOES ALLAH FORCE PEOPLE TO FOLLOW HIS LAWS, NO!...YOU WERE BORN WITH THE FREEDOM OF CHOICE FROM ALLAH SWT?
Oleh Latifabdul;(1)

Did messengers compel people to follow them or to obey their laws?
Does ALLAH give the right to choice?
Does ALLAH give the freedom to people; freedom to choose his religion, freedom to expression, freedom to speech, and freedom to wear his clothes?

Yes, ALLAH said in Al Quran.
Yes, everyone has the freedom to choose his religion. There is no any compulsion or forces in choosing religion.

Let us find an answer in Al Quran, as a guide book for mankind, what ALLAH said;

1. There is no compulsion in religion. Verily, the Right Path has become distinct from the wrong path. so whosoever refuses to be led by those who transgress and believes in Allah, then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold that will never break. And Allah is All hearer, All Knower.(QS.2;256) .

2. Do you submit yourselves to Allah in Islam? If they do, they are rightly guided; but if they turn away, your duty is only to convey the Message; and Allah is All Seer of His slaves.(QS.3;20) .

3.And had your Lord willed, those on earth would have believed all of them together. So will you (O Muhammad) then compel mankind, until they become believer! (QS.10;99).

4. Verily, you remind them (O Muhammad) you are only one who reminds. You are not a dictator over them? (QS.88;21-22)

5.And say Muhammad; “The truth is from your Lord.” Then whoever wills, let him believe; and whoever wills let him disbelieve.(QS.18;29).

The Al Quran also asks Muslims to bear true witness, even if that means testifying against your friends, family and community. Seems to me that by ignoring all this advice, you're cherry-picking from the tree of religion as much you claim I am.

It is really clear that from God verses above that people born on earth have been given the freedom; freedom of choosing his: religion, clothing, speech, behavior etc..

The Prophet Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad (peace be upon them) is last Prophet did not get authority to force people to follow his religion, or to follow the way of Messengers’ dress, or to follow his language(Arab) etc..But if you follow the messengers or Muhammad (peace be upon him) sincerely, you will get reward from God, because Muhammad (peace be upon him) was the best model as human being God’s created..As ALLAH said to the Messenger of Muhammad saw ; And shown him the two ways (good and evil) (QS.90:10).

Also as ALLAH said to the Messenger of Moses; Today I am giving you a choice between good and evil, or between a blessing and a curse, between live and death. (Deuteronomy 30; 1,15)..

You were born with the freedom of choice..FREEDOM OF RELIGIOUS

The Prophet’s authority from ALLAH was only to convey God‘s commandments. How to convey God’s commandments? Follow ALLAH’s commandments kindly, sincerely and show a role of model. May people will follow you freely..

God’s verses in Al Quran and Bible are only as a reminder for human being. The Human right of freedom of choosing religion, speech, freedom of expression, freedom of wearing clothing, eating foods, ect..

The human right based on ALLAH Commandments found in the Al Quran and the Old Testaments as above verses.

Article 18 . Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion; this right includes freedom to change his religion or belief, and freedom, either alone or in community with others and in public or private, to manifest his religion or belief in teaching, practice, worship and observance.

Article 19. Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and _expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers..

6. Follow (O men!) the revelation given unto you from your Lord, and follow not, as friends, or protectors, other than Him. Little it is ye remember of admonition.QS 7:3...

If we take a look at Arab's countries which everyone has no right to act his faith or his religion, there is no right to choose his style of dressing, there is no right to choose his leader ect.

For example; Saudi Arabia does not give the right to Syiah, Ahmadiah, Sufi ect to perform their faith in public equally. Also Ahmadiah, and other minority groups of islamic organisation has been banned in Pakistan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Bruney, and others

Also if we take a look at Communis's countries, people has no right to conduct or to perform his faith or religion, no right tom choose his leader, no right to speech or express his thought, no right to travel to any countries and no right to watch TV, Internet etc.

Both systems of their Goverment are dictatorship. There are no voices from their people. People has to follow what their leader's laws...not ALLAH's laws. Therefor, their people is real poverty, lack of education, lack of nutrients ect.So the system of democracy is opposite of the system of dictatorship.

In Democratic system, people has the right to choose his leader, but in dictatorship system people has no right to to choose his leader.

Conclusion;

1. ALLAH gives a freedom to every born child to choose to his faith, religion, to change his religion, freedom to teach his religion or his belief and freedom to choose his leader.

2. Democratic system is a system which follow ALLAH's laws.

3. Freedom is the best GIFT from ALLAH to everyone.

4. Japan and America are a the best model of the democratic countries, everyone has the right to choose his faith, or to perform his religion peacefully, freedom to speech and express his thought ect.

5. Due to the freedom of religious and speach, made both countries so tronger in ekonomy, technology, sciences, and made both counties more peaceful society compare to Arab'countries and communis contries.

May ALLAH bless you all and open your heart..Sincerelly yours
